The Riviera Yacht Support Golf Bonanza 2023
In 2010 Riviera Yacht Support was proud to announce the continuation of the annual tradition of the Yachting Golf Tournament. Previously started by the PYA and followed also by Nordzee we were happy to take up the reins and continue this much-loved tradition in the autumn Yachting calendar. We were around 80 participants that year… Jump forward to 2023 and we are still going strong with an expected 300 participants this year.
The event has become the largest Golf tournament in the yachting Calendar, bringing together Captains, Officers and Crew from Superyachts with representatives from the Yachting industry for a fun packed 3-day event. There is nothing quite like being out on the Golf Course, 18 holes of friendly competition, sub competitions, on course entertainment, and light refreshments along the way during 2 days of Stapleford golf. The entire golf course and club house are dedicated to the sponsors and participants. It is the ideal setting for networking with Yachting’s elite in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
In 2022 we introduced a new 3 Day event. As most of you in the industry know Pinmar sadly held their final weekend Golf Event in 2019 and many of our clients and sponsors asked us to take up the challenge and continue this tradition of a full Golfing weekend and as our moto is always to find ‘the solution’ we have been overblown by the huge success of our first 3 Day event thanks to the continued support of our long-standing Sponsors. We are working endlessly to bring you an even bigger and better RYS Golf Bonanza and Gala Dinner 3- Day event in 2023.
Our aim is to include more yachting professionals and companies to join our Golf Bonanza family and have introduced some new sponsorship opportunities and hospitality packages for all levels of participation. The Golf Tournament – Thursday 5th – Saturday 7th October
The Riviera Yacht Support Golf Bonanza is the largest Golfing event in the Yachting calendar, with up to 240 players taking part over two days of Stapleford golf. Held at the prestigious Old Course Cannes
Mandelieu.

Thursday Welcome Party
Thursday 4pm – 7pm Old Course Cannes. A welcome briefing with Champagne and Canapes for all sponsors and golfers @ La Grange club house Old Course Cannes – Mandelieu.
A casual get together to kick off the event. Open invitation to all involved.

October
The Golf Tournament
Friday 6th and Saturday 7th Old Course Cannes. Two days of Stapleford Golf, each player will play either Friday or Saturday.
Breakfast served from 8am and Tee off at 10am. There will be plenty of sub competitions for players to have the chance of winning a prize for longest drive, closest to the pin, etc. Plus there will be 2 x Hole in One opportunities to win either an Omega Watch or Drive away in a brand new Mercedes car.
Everyone can enjoy the on course bars, try their hand at winning a prize at the chipping challenge, hit the target or at the Petanque course. Also for non golfers, you can have a relaxing massage or have a manicure. Food will be served all day at the Fire Pitt next to the Club House and a BBQ at the Beach Bar.
The driving range will be available for all to practise or take advantage of having a lesson from
our pro golfer.

The Friday Night VIP Party
The exclusive Friday Night VIP Party held at the enchanting Chateau La Napoule constructed in the 14th century, this beautiful castle overlooks the Bay of Cannes, with its architecture and stunning gardens and the building is a living museum.
This really is an amazing opportunity to visit the Chateau and meet the players, sponsors and industry figures attending this prestigious event.

The Saturday Night Prize-giving Gala Dinner
Grand finale Gala Dinner and Prize Giving ceremony at the Pullman hotel from 8pm to 12 am
After Party 12am to 3am
We will gather on the seafront terraces for a glass of Champagne while another stunning musician will spellbind us into an atmosphere of indulgent euphoria to commence an evening of celebration for the Grand Finale Gala dinner and Prize Giving award ceremony. Set in the great gala room dressed in the theme of midnight blue and bright stars, where Peter MacKley will reside over the prize giving ceremony. Live music will play during a 3-course meal of culinary delights from Chef Cedric Miliot.
After Party at The Bay Club – Pullman Hotel – 12am to 3am to round of this 3-day event.
The upscale Pullman Cannes Mandelieu hotel is located facing the sea, in the bay of Cannes, near the city centre of Mandelieu. The Pullman hotel stands out for its private beach with deckchairs
and outdoor swimming pool and casino. It also has a restaurant, bars, a nightclub, a fitness lounge, direct access to the sandy beach and a tennis court and is a short 10-minute walk to the golf club.
